Dunja Sinyavskaya is a young artist, based in Slovenia, who specializes in painting portratis and human figures.

She began her artistic path in early childhood and developed painting skills throughout her life. From 2006 to 2011 she was attending art school, and in 2013 she started attending a painting atelier in Ljubljana, where she still creates her artworks. After graduating from the Diocesan Classical Gymnasium in Ljubljana, she started studying architecture at University of Ljubljana and continued painting in atelier.

Until the age of 18, Dunja had 4 personal painting exhibitions and participated in numerous group art exhibitions. She organized her first solo art exhibition at the age of 16 at the Institute of St. Stanislav. This was followed in 2018 by her painting exhibitions at the Media House Delo and at the Apollonio Palace in Piran. Her last painting exhibition was in 2019 at the Institute of St. Stanislav.

In her work, Dunya explores the inner world of human – in each person she detects unique facial features that reveal the character of the individual, and realistically depicts the emotions that the person experienced at the time of drawing process. Dunya creates in different techniques: pastels, charcoal, pencil, watercolor, acrylic and oil.
